Step Out the Box and onto the Lucky Bus for a one-day trip to Atlantic City, courtesy of Pandora’s Entertainment Group.

Bus leaves for Atlantic City at 6:00 AM and should roll in to Atlantic City around 12:00 noon. During the ride, enjoy music, movies, raffles, giveaways, and much more.

Once in Atlantic City visit the boardwalk, the many shopping centers, take a stroll on the sandy beaches, or try your luck at one of the many casinos along the strip. Receive $20 of casino money, a free buffet, and refreshments.

Bus will load and unload at Allright Parking (map here) in Newport News, Virginia (between 36th & 37th St off of Huntington Ave behind the 7-11). Take pleasure in knowing that your car is safe and secure during your brief getaway.

DEPARTURE AND RETURN

Bus will depart Newport News, VA at 6:00 AM on Saturday September 24th 2011 and arrive in Atlantic City, NJ at approximately 12:00 noon. Bus will leave Atlantic City at 12 midnight and return to Newport News at 6:00 AM Sunday, September 25th, 2011.

Price: 2 Easy Payments of $35

1st payment of $35 due no later than August 13, 2011, and the 2nd payment of $35 due by September 14, 2011.

Summerfest by the Bay

May 6th through Sept 2ndFridays from 5pm until Midnight at Fort Monroe’s Beach and Boardwalk.  (Located behind the Bay Breeze Community Center 490 Fenwick Rd, bldg 185, Fort Monroe, VA.)  Free and open to the public. Enjoy Live Music and fun beach activities for the kids. Free access to outdoor pool begins May 27th. Food and beverages are available for purchase. 10th Annual Virginia Beer Festival

Saturday May 14th This is one of the most popular Beer Festivals in the mid-Atlantic Region. Spend the afternoon sampling great beer from all over the world. International premium beers, hand crafted domestics and local brews comprise a selection of over 125 tap handles. The event features live music, great food and, of course, great beer. Virginia Beer Festival is produced in partnership with Virginia Arts Festival

Monday Open Mic Nights

at “The Venue on 35th”631 35th Street between Colley and Newport Avenues Norfolk VA, 23508. “Each Monday night folks at The Venue set the stage, turn on the sound system and stage lights, then they open the doors to the area’s performing artists inviting them to take the stage and share their artistic expressions with others. We also invite the public to come watch and listen and to applaud the performers. The setting is intimate and supportive and intended for people serious about art” Start time is 8 PM doors / open at 7:45 PM – the stage will stay lit until 10:30. Donation required at the Door: $2.00 minimum be generous – help keep the stage lights on!
