If your other half loves poetry, check out the Open Mic nights at the Healing Café which takes place weekly on Thursdays in Suffolk, Va. If you are looking for something a bit more delectable trying sinking your teeth into an afternoon of palate bliss while experiencing the Virginia beach or Downtown Norfolk food tour. Go for a stroll while tantalizing your mouth with edible bites of various cuisines from local hidden away restaurants. This event takes place Saturdays from 11-2:30 in Norfolk or 3-6 in Virginia Beach but reservations are required in advance.
